Two Monkeys Vintage Rental Agreement
All items require a minimum $100 non-refundable deposit to hold them for rental, which will be applied to final bill. All remaining balances will be due 14 days prior to the reserved date of the event. If the date of your event is within 30 days of the reserved date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold items for rental.
Items are not considered reserved until the minimum deposit and signed rental agreement are received by Two Monkeys Vintage.
Client shall return items or have them ready for pick up on date and by time specified on invoice. Additional rental fees may be applied to items returned late.
Cancellation of any rental item within two weeks of scheduled delivery or pick up will result in a 50% cancellation fee of any funds paid over the initial deposit(s). All monies paid towards a reserved event/date that are cancelled less than 5 business days prior to the event date may be considered forfeited, and may not be reimbursed.
Rentals that are picked up by a customer must be transported in a covered vehicle or trailer with proper moving blankets and straps.
Delivery and/or pickup fees are separate from rental fees and will appear as a separate line item on the invoice, unless noted on the contract. Delivery/pickup by Two Monkeys Vintage is calculated including charges associated with truck rental, mileage to and from delivery location and gas charges. See the Delivery Charges page for more detail.
Styling and/or Setup fees are separate from delivery/pickup charges and are billed at an hourly rate.
The client is responsible for loss or damage of items and will pay for the cost of replacement or repair. Replacement cost of items not returned to Two Monkeys Vintage may be higher than items that are returned damaged. Notification of damage missing items will occur within 7 days of the return/pickup. This cost will be assessed within 30 days of return and presented in a separate invoice payable within 15 days. The replacement value of items will be determined by value and condition of item at time of rental.
There is no warranty that rented items are free of defects, as vintage and antique items may come with wear.
Client takes full responsibility for proper set up of tables to ensure proper leg locking for full stability.
The client agrees that Two Monkeys Vintage holds no liability for any damage or injury caused by the use of rental items to client or any third party. The client assumes all risk of personal property damage or personal injury and if any accident involving Rental Company's rental items has occurred while it is in client's possession, client shall make Two Monkeys Vintage aware by written statement of details of occurrence of event including police report and names and addresses of witnesses.
A cleaning fee will be assessed if items are returned with excessive dirt as determined by Two Monkeys Vintage.
A cleaning fee will be assessed if items are returned with wax as determined by the Two Monkeys Vintage.
All food service items must be left for pick up or returned rinsed and free of food. A cleaning fee will be charged if items are not returned clean.
Delivery is curbside unless noted otherwise on invoice/estimate. Set up fee is separate line item.
Returned checks will incur additional charges including but not exceeding all bank fees plus $30 processing fee.
If equipment is ordered and delivered but not used, no refund will be given.
An 8% nonrefundable damage waiver is charged on all rental items. This damage waiver covers rental items that are damaged through normal use. All broken and damaged items, including broken glassware and china, must be returned to Two Monkeys Vintage, for the damage waiver to apply. The damage waiver does not cover loss or negligence.
Examples of items covered on damage waiver:
- Broken glasses/plates (broken glasses/plates must be returned to be covered by waiver)
- Chipped plates
- Dirt spots on upholstery
Examples of items not covered on damage waiver:
- Any item not returned (including crates and racks)
- Broken glasses/plates not returned
- Broken furniture
- Tears in upholstery
- Excessive amounts of breakage (negligence).
The replacement cost of all missing items will be charged to the contracted customer. Two Monkeys Vintage reserves the right to charge these costs to the credit card on file for the event payments. If the missing items are returned to Two Monkeys Vintage within 30 days, the cost will be reimbursed.
